Looking for an exciting new HR role with a fast-paced company where you can leverage your broad HR skills and knowledge to make a real difference? As a member of QPS's Global HR Team, you will focus on working as an onsite “HR department of one” and be responsible for our Miami site's recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, Training and Development, and employment law compliance. You will also work closely with corporate HR staff (located in Newark, DE) to administer site needs regarding benefits administration, payroll, and HRIS.

The Job
- Address basic employee relations issues, such as policy questions, referring complex matters (e.g., harassment) to senior HR personnel.
- Oversee recruitment for all site positions, including sourcing, interviewing, extending offers, and managing pre- and post-hire processes. Maintain the ADP recruitment module.
- Develop a general understanding of all areas of HR and handle basic employee questions, referring complex issues to the corporate HR SME.
- Participate in employee counseling for policy violations and career development. Advise supervisors / managers on performance issues and policy interpretations.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including orientation and policy explanation. Assist in organizing training and professional development opportunities.
- Help organize employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Maintain employee records and HR systems. Monitor attendance and time-off requests, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Answer employee questions about benefits, compensation, and payroll.
Requirements
High School Diploma (some college or other studies in a related field would be helpful)
