- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans to improve their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapy and case management professionals, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to support rehabilitation and promote independence in daily activities.
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.
