Functions of the Human Resources Coordinator Role:
· Assists with set up of employee paperwork and processing
· Aid in managing and updating all employee handbooks, forms, training manuals and other HR materials
· Coordinates employee benefits program set up
· Ensure compliance with relevant HR policies and practices
· Administer and communicate all health and welfare benefits programs including plan implementation, changes, renewals, tracking and payment/invoice monitoring and reconciliation
· Review benefits packages with new hires for questions
· Ensures accurate benefit enrollments and leading open enrollment processes
· Track FMLA eligibility and leave time, responsible for employee notification and impact on benefits
· Support employee short term disability cases; track leave of absence and provide weekly status updates
· Monitor all workers compensation and unemployment claims
· Track and record employee sick/vacation requests
· Reconciling and submitting reports to insurance companies
· Provide payroll support for Payroll Administrator
Job Requirements for the Human Resources Coordinator needed:
2-3 years experience in a Human Resources role
Skilled in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Skilled in the use of UKG (Kronos)
Knowledge of Human Resources processes and procedures
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Company and employee information
Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
Ability to communicate courteously with all levels of the organization to resolve issues
Oral/written communications, analytical thinking, organization and planning, teamwork, adaptability, and customer service skills
