Job Requirements
- Payroll Processing: Accurately process employee paychecks through Paychex, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist with AP and AR tasks, including invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and collections follow-ups.
- Bank & Credit Card Reconciliation: Review and reconcile company credit card statements, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and coded correctly.
- Record-Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records, assist with financial reporting, and support audits as needed.
- General Accounting Support: Perform other accounting-related tasks and administrative duties as assigned.
- 2-5 years of experience in payroll and/or accounting.
- Experience with Paychex or similar payroll processing software is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records.
- Reliable attendance and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Schedule flexibility to accommodate payroll processing and address urgent issues if needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software.
