Leidos QTC Health Services is hiring a Systems Administrator / Command Center Analyst to be responsible for supporting the LQTC Command Center, monitoring IT infrastructure and applications. This particular position is primarily for supporting weekends and holidays and also functions as the primary escalation liaison between various support teams within the technology division.
Four days a week, 10 hours each day, plus lunch break
Normal work days are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and SundayOn weeks when there is a holiday, you will be expected to work the holiday and swap either the Thursday or Friday of that week for your holidayConsult the QTC Holiday calendar for the list of company holidays which you are expected to workThe shift will start at either 10 : 00 AM or 10 : 30 AM (Eastern), depending on whether you plan to take a lunch break of one hour or 30 minutes and will end at 9 : 00 PMThere is a possibility the work hours could shift one hour in the future where the day will start one hour later and scheduled to end at 10 : 00 PM Eastern timeEssential Duties and Responsibilities :
Monitor IT Server, Network and Application health and performanceExecute morning system health check list and communicate results to leadership and support teamsProvide day-to-day operational support for IT Infrastructure and applicationsServe as the central point of contact for technology major incidents, understand when to escalate to other support teams and oversee the incident process through resolutionBe involved in and support the change management process, particularly for infrastructure changesWork with various monitoring systems, rising to the level to recommend enhancements to improve the efficiency and coverage of our monitoring toolsWork closely with IT Infrastructure engineers and Application Support to implement IT solutions and ensure established process and policies to monitor and maintain day-to-day operationsMaintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for management reporting; provide periodic reports for analysisConduct research to evaluate new Command Center technologiesPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedCompetencies :

Bachelor degree in computer science, business administration, related field, or possess equivalent work experience2-5 years of IT Support or System Administration experienceKnowledge of IT monitoring solutions such as PRTG, Splunk, Solarwinds, Dynatrace, ServiceNowKnowledge of Servers Operating systems (Windows Server 2012 / 2019, VMware vSphere)Knowledge of basic networking skills (Cisco, Aruba)ITIL certification a plusExperience with Cloud Operations a plusMust be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigationMust be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)Pay and Benefits : $77,000 - $95,000
