QUAD is currently seeking a Controller for a fast growing, dynamic PE owned distribution company headquartered in Cinnaminson, NJ.

The Controller will be responsible for managing financial reporting, compliance, and month close, as well as providing senior leadership with financial updates and guiding financial decision making. The role will oversee a staff of five. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic company that will provide a high level learning experience for a go getter candidate!

Responsibilities:

The Controller will be responsible for:

• Maintaining accounting procedures and policies documentation system, and implementing accounting transactions controls system
• Managing and monitoring accounts, reporting systems, and ledgers and ensuring GAAP compliance
• Maintaining revenue, costs, budgets, and actual expenditures internal control safeguards
• Overseeing financial reports creation and ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Handling accounting team hiring, training, and retention
• Implementing accounting processes, policies, and procedures across all programs
• Owning development and management of internal controls
• Coordinating external accountant activities
• Producing compliance reports

Skills/Competencies:

The ideal Controller will possess any of these skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• CPA or working towards a plus
• 5 years senior level accounting or financial management experience
• Public private combo is preferred
• Experience supporting multiple locations in distribution, manufacturing or retail
• Solid GAAP and financial reporting proficiency
• Strong organizational skills, with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Microsoft Office proficiency

Additional Details:

Salary: To $175k base

Employment Type: direct hire

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
