Manufacturing Accountant

QUAD is seeking a Manufacturing Accountant for a company located in Louisville, KY. Local candidates only.

The Manufacturing Accountant will be primarily responsible for various general accounting and financial analysis related to investment decisions, business opportunities, as well as owning product and variance analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Provide stakeholders with financial analysis
• Identify variances, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions
• Ensure accuracy of product costs
• Perform trend, product profitability, and inventory analysis
• Complete month end close
• Prepare analysis of material cost of sales, including variances and valuation adjustments
• Work with Operations on cost center budgets and forecasts preparation and spending monitoring
• Identify profitability improvements
• Perform internal controls implementation and monitoring

Skills/Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree; CPA and/or MBA preferred
• 2 years controller experience
• SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Additional Details:

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Salary: To $110k, plus bonus

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
