Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist

Southland Manufacturing, is a manufacturer of shipping and packaging material. We specialize in new pallets and crates. We are advertising an opening for the following position:

Maintenance Technician in Bowling Green, KY.

Functions:

Maintain assembly lines, air, electricity and power tools. Attend to all other general repairs as well as forklift fleet. Drug screen required.

Salary:

$16 - $22 an hour / Full-time * Based on experience

Schedule – Monday to Friday

Job Requirements - Essential Responsibilities:

1. Must have own tools

2. Must have electrical background

3. Must be able to weld and fabricate

4. Utilizes a variety of power and air tools

5. Receive and perform work instructions

6. Able to be licensed to operate a fork truck.

7. Basic computer skills

8. Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. Vocational training certificate, college degree or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift 50 lbs.

2. Requires bending, stooping and standing.

3. Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day.

4. Good visual and spatial perception.
