We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Counter Sales and Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support while promoting our products. Your ability to communicate effectively and understand customer needs will be essential in driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all walk-in and phone-in customers.
- Assist customers in selecting the right parts and accessories for their powersport vehicles.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding service and repair needs.
- Schedule and manage service appointments efficiently.
- Write detailed work orders, ensuring clear communication between customers and technicians.
- Provide customers with accurate estimated and updates on service progress.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory, reorder and restock parts as needed.
- Maintain and organize showroom area, ensuring products are well-displayed and easily accessible for a welcoming store environment.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability. In person, by phone or over email.
Skills
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Knowledge/previous experience of powersport vehicles and parts (motorcycles, ATV's, UTV's, etc.)
- Need to be able to use and operate computer/point of sale systems (DX1 preferred but will train)
- Able to create/handle social media posts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Previous experience in sales or parts counter roll
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment.
- Proficient in cash register operations and handling financial transactions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with good phone etiquette.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and addressing customer concerns.
- Spanish Speaking would be a plus (not required)
