Job Title: Folder/Gluer Operator
Quad is seeking a skilled Folder/Gluer Operator to join our team at our Spartanburg, SC location.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the printing/packaging fields and be able to perform set-up and operate machine to automatically fold, glue and affix inserts and/or outserts, security tags, and adhesive label on preprinted stock.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare for Operation - Check order documentation, verify accuracy, and communicate order information to support staff.
- Operate Gluer Machine - Operate assigned equipment following Company policies and procedures.
- Perform Maintenance - Observe and monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are needed.
- Perform Quality Checks - Complete quality checklist(s) and perform quality checks of the product throughout to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous folder/gluer experience in the printing/packaging fields is highly desired.
- Ability to perform work-related functions requiring mathematical skills.
- Interpreted instructions, job orders, production sheets, and work-related documents.
- Able to communicate problems and malfunctions to co-workers and lead/management.
