Medical Laboratory TechnicianSan Antonio, TXPay From : $29 Per Hour MUST : The Medical Laboratory Technician should have the following : 1 year of experience as a Medical Laboratory TechnicianPerforming specimen analysisHandling Manual differential testsPreparing peripheral blood smears and WBC differentialsChemistry, hematology, coagulation and urinalysis experience Performing various laboratory tests and comfortable with Clinical Lab Testing and chemistry techniquesVenipunctureHandling equipment maintenanceStrong documentation skillsASCP certification or MLTBachelor s Degree in Chemistry or Biology DUTIES : The Duties of the Medical Laboratory Technician include but are not limited to the following : Perform specimen analysis and routine Chemistry, Hematology, and Urinalysis testingPrepare peripheral blood smear and complete WBC differential on normal and abnormal smearsPerform moderate and high complexity laboratory testsProcesses samples for send out and reflex laboratory testingPerform sample analysis and reporting results at least once a yearAssists with special procedures as needed Calibrate equipment and complete preventive maintenance Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies Summarize findings and prepare reports Quadrant is an affirmative action / equal opportunity employer.
