Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with 10-15 years of expertise to join our team in New Jersey (Onsite). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of SAP systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SAP environments, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and other SAP applications.
• Perform SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
• Monitor system performance, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system operation.
• Implement and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations.
• Manage SAP system backups, disaster recovery planning, and high availability configurations.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams for OS, database, and network support.
• Handle transport management, system refreshes, and client copies.
• Provide technical support for SAP landscapes, including issue resolution and root cause analysis.
• Work with functional teams to support SAP modules integration and performance optimization.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and security guidelines.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, and Solution Manager.
• Experience with SAP HANA database administration and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of OS (Linux/Windows) and databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
• Hands-on experience with SAP upgrades, migrations, and cloud integration (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Expertise in SAP security, transport management, and backup strategies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in an onsite role in New Jersey.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
