Location: Remote(occasional travel to client location)

Rate: $90-$120/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) Consultant with mininum 10 years experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP FICO modules and a proven track record of implementing, customizing, and supporting SAP solutions within large-scale enterprises. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation & Configuration:
• Configure and implement SAP FICO modules (Financial Accounting and Controlling) based on business requirements.
• Customize financial accounting processes including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting (BA).
• Implement and configure controlling processes including cost centers, internal orders, profit centers, and product costing.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Assist in system design, blueprint preparation, and documentation.
• Integration & Coordination:
• Ensure smooth integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and HCM (Human Capital Management).
• Collaborate with other functional consultants (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP HCM) to ensure seamless cross-functional integration and process flows.
• Coordinate with IT teams to ensure proper data migration, system upgrades, and new implementations.
• Reporting & Analytics:
• Develop and configure financial reports, both standard and custom, in SAP FICO.
• Support management and finance teams with financial analysis, budget tracking, and cost management.
• Ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing procedures are followed and documented.
• Project Management:
• Assist in project planning, scoping, and implementation strategies.
• Contribute to functional and technical specifications for enhancements and custom development.
• Participate in project reviews, providing status updates and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation, configuration, and support.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules (FI and CO), including experience with sub-modules like GL, AP, AR, AA, BA, cost centers, internal orders, and profit centers.
• Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations, including design, configuration, testing, training, and support.
• Experience with integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and HR is highly preferred.
• Experience working in SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of SAP FICO configuration and integration with other SAP modules.
• Knowledge of SAP reporting tools like SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and SAP Fiori is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP financial reporting (e.g., financial statements, balance sheets, P&L) and management reporting.
• Experience with tools for data migration and SAP interfaces is an advantage.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP FICO in specific industries (e.g., manufacturing, retail, finance).
• Knowledge of automation tools, digital transformation, or cloud solutions related to SAP FICO.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
