Are you an outgoing person with experience in a senior living community? Come join the Quail Park of Lynnwood team as our memory care Life Engagement Director! Our Life Engagement team plans a variety of events and activities to keep our residents stimulated and engaged. As a member of this team, you would plan, direct, and coordinate all social events and activities for our Tribute Memory Care residents as well as supervise our Activities Assistant. You will also assist the care team with monitoring and supporting residents by keeping up to date on social history profiles and modeling behavior management strategies.

What You'll Do:
Activity Director, Life Engagement Director, CNA, HCA

• Provide direct supervision for Life Engagement Department team members including hiring, training, evaluation and discipline
• Serve as a member of the Community Management Team and attend meetings as needed
• Ensures department or project goals and milestones are met adhering to approved department or project budgets
• Assist, plan, coordinate and participate in a variety of social events, outings, and on-site activities to ensure that resident social, emotional, mental and spiritual needs are met
• Serve as liaison between residents, family and team members regarding resident psycho-social needs or changes
• Ensure an accurate social history and profile for each resident is created and maintained
• Negotiate vendor pricing and contracts in accordance with department budget and book local/regional entertainers for on-site events
• Maintain an adequate inventory of activity supplies and equipment and replenish as necessary
• Support the team ensuring all resident care and activity is provided in a safe and effective manner while consistently maintaining resident dignity, choice and respect.

What We're Looking For:
Activity Director, Life Engagement Director, CNA, HCA

• At least 2 years’ experience working in a senior living environment and/or social activity leadership
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
• CNA, NAC, NAR, HHCA or grandfathered care license required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to state licensure
• Must maintain current CPR/First Aid and Food Handler’s credentials
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
