The Employee Relations and Recruiting Manager leads employee relations initiatives proactively and collaboratively. The manager works closely with managers, supervisors, and team members to foster a positive and productive workplace environment. Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and reviewing policies that support long-term organizational growth while providing day-to-day coaching and guidance on employee relations matters. Additionally, the Employee Relations and Recruiting Manager oversees the recruitment process and provides leadership to a Recruiter, ensuring efficient and strategic talent acquisition practices align with organizational objectives.

Duties

  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Manage recruitment processes and assist in succession planning and employee evaluations.
  • Utilize HR systems to streamline HR operations.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate with management to address employee issues and improve workplace culture.
  • Analyze data to identify trends in employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Guide HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate training sessions on conflict resolution, performance management, and other relevant topics.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in human resources management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment practices and employee evaluation processes.
  • Familiarity with HR software is preferred.
  • Excellent data analysis skills to interpret HR metrics effectively.
  • Experience in recruiting and succession planning is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
