Now Hiring: Metrology Technician
Location: Hampton, VA
Position Type: Contract to Hire (6 months)
Shift: 1st Shift (No weekends – 40 hrs per week)
Pay Rate: $30 - $35/hr (Depending on Experience)
We are seeking full-time Metrology Technicians to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and operating vision inspection systems.
\n- Conduct receiving inspections, in-process inspections, final inspections, and first article inspections
- Use Optical Gauging Smart Scope and Keyence Vision Systems for inspections
- Program and operate vision inspection systems
- Ensure inspections are performed in compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- US citizenship (due to ITAR site requirements)
- Hands-on experience with vision inspection systems
- Experience in programming vision inspection systems
- SAP experience
- AS9102 experience
- Experience with touch probes
- Familiarity with ASME Y 14.3
Salary : $30 - $35
