\n- Team Leadership: Direct and oversee engineering, quality, and tooling teams to ensure seamless execution of critical processes.
- Process Optimization: Develop, standardize, and continuously improve workflows, with a focus on key systems such as melt and sand processes.
- Documentation Excellence: Oversee and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), standard work instructions, and procedures within the ERP system.
- Collaborative Innovation: Partner with product development, design, and scheduling teams to integrate process considerations into designs, manage pattern changeovers, and prepare for production.
- Change Management: Drive the implementation of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), First Article Testing (F.A.T.), and new product launches.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot production challenges through root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
- Quality Improvement: Lead initiatives to minimize non-conforming products (scrap) and uphold 6S standards, including calibration of control equipment.
- Tooling Oversight: Manage tooling and pattern shop priorities, supporting repairs and new product introductions.
- Safety Advocacy: Conduct safety reviews and incident evaluations to enhance processes and mitigate risks.
- Continuous Reporting: Deliver regular updates on engineering, quality, and special projects, focusing on critical-to-quality (CTQ) variables and equipment optimization.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proven Experience: 5–7 years in process engineering within a manufacturing environment, with 1–3 years in a supervisory role.
- Preferred Expertise: Familiarity with sand casting foundries, blow molding, extrusion, or injection molding processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (preferably IQMS) and BOM management.
- Commitment to Quality: Demonstrated success in process improvements, troubleshooting, and ISO 9001 standards.
- We’re looking for a candidate with a strong engineering background, proven leadership skills, and a successful track record in process improvement within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, required in Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process engineering.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of engineering supervisory experience.
- Experience working in sand casting foundry is preferred.
- Experience with blow molding, extrusion, and injection molding processes will be a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly IQMS preferred, and managing Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Proven track record in developing and implementing process improvements and troubleshooting in a production setting.
- Experience with ISO 9001 is preferred.
- Knowledge of blow molding, extrusion, and injection molding processes.
- Experience in sand casting foundry operations.
- Proficiency in ISO 9001 standards.
