Qualico Steel Company. Inc. is a leading steel fabrication company who has been servicing the construction industry for over 40 years. We have earned the reputation of providing excellent quality and service, in the structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication industry.
Summary:
This skilled position will be responsible for ensuring the highest degree of product quality is achieved in the current manufacturing processes. This position will work with QA/QC to ensure company standards are adhered to.
Responsibilities:
· Inspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, and other materials.
· Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications.
· Communicating with fabricators and management.
· Production of daily shop reports.
Qualifications:
· Minimum years of experience: 2
· Computer skills
· Strong communication skills
· AWS Certification preferred but not required
· NACE or SSPC Certification preferred but not required
· NDE/NDT Certification preferred but not required
