Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Survivability Armor Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in the design and development of armor vehicles and armor plating.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement armor vehicle and armor plating designs that meet government specifications and requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate armor subsystems and verify design performance
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including engineering drawings and reports
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including engineers, managers, and customers
- Travel occasionally to support project needs
Essential Qualifications:
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in armor systems design and development
- Strong understanding of government specifications and requirements for armor systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
