Qualified Staffing of Cartersville is hiring a Claims Assistant in Kennesaw, GA! This is a part-time role that has the potential to transition into full-time employment.
Job Description :
- Tracking Property Damage Complaints : Identify Work Order numbers, acknowledge claims, and refer claims to the responsible party (RP)
- Supporting RP Insurance Onboarding : Gather necessary documentation, including certificates, endorsements, Experience Modification Rate (EMR), and loss runs to support the RP's insurance onboarding process.
- Scheduling Repair Vendors : Locate and coordinate repair vendors, providing them with photos and service descriptions to ensure timely repairs.
- Assembling Claim Supports : Collect and organize all necessary claim documents, including contracts, work logs, certificates, police reports, and photos.
- Monitoring Claim Communications : Maintain communication with all parties involved in the claim process, ensuring that responses are received promptly and that the claim progresses smoothly.
- Logging Utility Hits : Accurately transfer information from forms to the Infratrac system for proper documentation of utility hits.
- Customer Service : Provide regular updates to claimants on the status of their claims and address any basic inquiries regarding the claims process.
- Claim Intake : Communicate directly with claimants to gather and log all relevant details for new claims.
- Certificate Cancellation / Renewals : Request Certificates of Insurance (COIs) from RPs and agents, and manage monthly reports for certificate renewals and cancellations.
- Organizing Active Subcontractor Folders : Maintain and label subcontractor files by specific date ranges for easy retrieval and organization.
- Revising the Logins for State Annual Reports : Reset and manage all state logins, ensuring they are linked to universal credentials for easy access and security.
- Tracking Annual Reports and Licenses : Monitor upcoming deadlines for annual report submissions and license renewals, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
