Summary:
Our client is a leading plastics extrusion company that utilizes the latest materials and techniques to develop custom solutions to their clients in various industries. They are looking to add a Machine Operator to their team. In this role this person would be responsible for producing quality plastic parts within specifications given by the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Start-up Responsibilities
- Review of Quality Book, including all customer alerts
- Review first article to ensure understanding of part quality
- Compare first piece to first article
- Fill out job startup check sheet
- Complete production log
- Ensure 100% quality production through diligence and adherence to processes and
procedures outlined in the quality manual - Immediately Alert supervisor when there is a quality issue
- Complete Operators log and job start-up check list
- Responsible for the quality of the parts being produced at the machine they are operating.
- Responsible for ensuring the parts that are being produced match customer’s specifications.
- Responsible for understanding cycle times for parts being produced.
- Responsible for understanding and following work instructions/processes as outlined in the quality inspection book.
