- Preparing materials : Positioning materials in clamps, templates, or hoop frames, and marking patterns on materials
Maintaining equipment : Replacing needles, sanding rough areas of needles, cleaning, and oiling machines
- Repairing garments : Examining garments and repairing them during the manufacturing process
- Recording quantities : Recording the quantities of materials processed
- Completing reports : Completing production reports
