SHIPPING & RECEIVING SPECIALIST- 2ND SHIFT (12PM 8PM)
Our client is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join their team on 2nd shift!
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare and package sub-assemblies or finished products to ship to customers, vendors or other corporate locations, both nationally and internationally.
- Receiving and signing in incoming freight
- Packaging and shipping outgoing materials.
- Monitoring shipping and packaging supplies and is required to drive the company vehicle for pickups and deliveries.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school degree or equivalent
- 2-5 years prior related work experience in inventory, shipping, or warehousing
- Knowledge of shipping instructions for commercial packages is required
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and effective typing skills is essential for this position
- Experience with inventory management systems is required
- SAP experience is desirable
- International shipping experience is a plus
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be able to obtain a Hi-lo License
- Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches above floor level, minimum)
- ITAR : U.S. citizenship is required and must have a clean criminal record and be able to pass a full panel Drug Screen
