General Summary of Position :
The Facilities Engineer is responsible for performing, assisting, and / or overseeing all manufacturing / facilities maintenance activities such that the business can meet or exceed all customer expectations by creating a culture of service excellence.
Principle Duties andResponsibilities :
Maintain safety, quality, and compliance in accordance with company policies andprocedures
Responsible for and perform corrective and preventativemaintenance
Responsible for and perform installation andmodification of equipment
Responsible for completing work orders, calibrations, and inspections
Partner with contractors and / or vendors as required to carry out maintenance, projects, andimprovements
Assist management in the evaluation process when determining the outsourcing of maintenance, projects, and improvements to contractors and / or vendors
Assistmanagementwith regards to capital planning, process improvement, justification, procurement, and installation
Operate, maintain, and recordproduction wastewatertreatments, including ordering and inventory of treatmentchemicals
1st tier support team member in emergency and / or unplanned shut-down and / or start-ups
Assist with overseeing general upkeep of thefacilities
Other job duties asassigned
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalentrequired
Trade School Certification or associates degree in applicable trade (preferred)
5 to 10 years of direct experience in arelatedmaintenancerole
Experience with programmingand modifyingPLC forexisting and improvedprocess control
Experience with integrating actuators and sensors into programs for process control
Experience with designing and implementing processcontrols andimprovements
Knowledge of general maintenance and repairs in a manufacturingenvironment
Ability to repair equipment and fabricate solutions
Must be able to work withand or aroundhazardouschemicals
Must be able to work outside of normal business hours to support thebusiness
Ability to work with and follow instructions from supervisors and / or other FacilitiesEngineer(s)
Excellent organizational and time managementskills
Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to thinkanalytically
Prolonged periods standing andwalking
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkwardspaces
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at atime
Can work independently and collaboratively as a team member to meetgoals
Meets or exceeds our internal and external customers' expectationsconsistently
Ability to be positive during difficult or challengingsituations
Biweekly pay. Paid on Fridays
