Machine Operator - 2nd shift

Mentor, OH

20 / hours

Set up and Operate descriptions :

• Install the tooling for the setup
• The tooling is put in the proper place per the setup sheets
• Adjust the machine to make good pieces
• Have QC check the parts to ensure the setup is making good pieces
• Lifting a maximum of 50lbs. 1 to 2 time per week depending on the setup and the number of setups
• Standing for 6 hours a day
• Manual dexterity for machine adjustments
• Check pieces to the quality standards and then dump a 4lbs. basket
• Adjust the machine as required to keep the parts in tolerance
• Change tooling as needed
• Computer checks at required on the QC procedure documents
• Load the machine
• Maintain the machine in good working order
• Tumble parts for burrs and eliminating chips
• Place the parts on a skid
• Take the parts to QC when the skid is full
• Lifting maximum of 35lbs. 4 to 6 times per shift
• Standing 6 hours a day
• Manual dexterity for adjustments and loading of the machine

Attendance Requirements

The employee must be at the workstation, ready for task assignment or working at the assigned task. at the beginning of the paid start time

The employee must work a full eight-hour shift. or other assigned shift, each scheduled working day

The employee is expected to report to work for overtime hours when requested

The employee must punch in no later than the scheduled start time, and no earlier than the end of the scheduled time
