Summary

The job involves providing timely and accurate information to both internal and external customers, covering areas such as equipment, shipping and order statuses. Additionally, it includes processing customer orders and preparing written quotations for sales managers, Cres Cor representative agencies, international distributors, dealers, and end-users. The role also involves responding to inquiries via phone and email related to domestic sales, international sales, parts, and services.

Essential Functions :

• Responds to customer inquiries, sales manager inquiries, ship date inquiries, product spec information, order entry, and provides written bid quotations to both domestic and international sales teams and various other specific accounts.
• Receives parts / service and troubleshooting calls and service website inquiries.
• Responsible for daily sales activities for export sales, including order entry, price quotations, project follow-up and reporting, preparation of export documents for shipments, freight cost and package dimension estimates, coordination of exporting orders with freight forwarders, and response to website inquiries from international customers.
• Trade show coordination at Taft - inspecting, loading, and unloading equipment and keeping track of trade show stock.
• Provides input and documentation during staff, production, international sales, and ECO meetings.
• Works with engineering, manufacturing, production, and purchasing to provide the sales team and customers with product spec requirements and shipping information.
• Must have the ability to work within our CRM System (Syteline)
• Other duties as assigned include trade show setup and tear down.
• Education and Experience : Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one year to three related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills : Proficient with Microsoft Office, Syteline / Goldman
• Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Communication Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, business plans, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, customers, or vendors, etc.
