The Mythical People Person: Customer Care Specialist
If you LOVE people and feel that you can help PETS best, by helping their humans - we are looking for you. Our team is growing and we know that there is a special person out there waiting to join our team. We're looking for the mythical, People Person who loves providing excellent front desk service . We know they are out there, hiding in a forest of long days, possibly working 2 jobs with no health insurance. This creature is known for their humble behavior, their ability to schedule multiple client appointments with a smile, review a $1500 invoice without batting an eye, and the emotional intelligence to assume good intent when clients are having trouble communicating. They secretly enjoy making sure reminders are sent, double checking that the client's name is spelled correctly in the computer, and getting those darned Rx labels on the bottle straight. At the end of the day they are smiling, making their teammates laugh, and feeling successful that they were able to offer help to a client who called crying and feeling hopeless about their dog's aggressive behavior. The mythical People Person values their communication skills and knows they fill a critical role in applying their organization and people skills to the demanding needs of the front desk.
What do you guys do? Take a cruise through the website! We are a VETERINARY behavior only facility. No surgery, dentistry, radiology, etc. Just animals who are anxious or fearful and their owner's are looking for options for help and support. This position involves a lot of communication by phone, text, and email making sure we connect these folks with the services they need.
