Our fast-paced, industry-leading, multi-specialty dental office working with nationally recognized providers, staff, state of the art equipment and motivated team members is looking for an experienced Clinical Operations Manager.
Your Role
As theDental Practice Clinical Operations Manager,you will be overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations, maintaining exceptional patient care standards, and fostering a positive work environment. You will use your surgical assisting skills during complex procedures or to gauge the efficiency of clinical staff. What You’ll Do
- Leadership Team Coordination: Lead, direct, motivate, and manage a team of dedicated clinical. Organize training, maintain staff schedules, and foster accountability to achieve seamless operations. Lead the daily huddles. Attend monthly team meetings. providing updates on clinical operations and contributing to strategic discussions.
- Strategic Clinical Leadership: Develop and execute the clinical operations strategy in alignment with organizational objectives. Provide visionary leadership to ensure the success of clinical projects. Work closely will all providers, directly daily flows and schedule as necessary.
- Team Management and Development: Lead and inspire the clinical team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Drive talent acquisition, training, and professional development within the team. Lead the recruitment and hiring process for clinical team members.
- Patient Relations Communication: Be the go-to for patient queries and quality control issues. Ensure patient satisfaction through empathetic communication and efficient resolution of issues.
- Operations Management and Efficiency: Oversee all aspects of clinical functions. Keep clinical teams running efficiently and ensure team members stay on track with performance goals. Implement processes to optimize resource allocation and enhance operational productivity. Develop schedules for clinical providers and clinical support staff. Provide performance evaluations, make pay recommendations and hold teammates accountable in performing their job responsibilities or adhere to policies and procedures.
- Compliance Training: Manage staff certifications, compliance training (HIPAA, OSHA), and maintain documentation. Schedule and oversee BLS/CPR training for team every two years.
- Continuous Improvement: Review and enhance office protocols to improve patient care and team performance, driving consistent growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Act as a liaison between the clinical team and external partners, vendors, and clinical sites. Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless integration of clinical operations with overall organizational goals.
- Quality Assurance and Data Integrity: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to uphold the integrity and reliability of clinical data. Establish procedures for monitoring and auditing to ensure high-quality standards.
- Financial Oversight: Contribute to the development and management of budgets for clinical operations. Ensure optimal resource allocation, cost-effectiveness, and financial efficiency.
- Clinical Policy and Procedure Development: Develop, update, and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
What Qualifications You Bring
- Previous Management Experience
- Proven work experience as a highly-skilled Dental Surgical Assistant Lead or Manager; ideally within a multi-specialty or surgical practice
- Familiarity with dental software and dental terminology is required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to independently solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and dental operations management

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $125,000.00 per year
