What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flexographic Press Operator position at Quality Assured Label?
Quality Assured Label is seeking an experienced Flexographic Press Operator. Training and probationary period will take place on 1st shift. Compensation: Starting at $25-$32/hr (dependent on experience) shift differential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up multi-unit, multi web UV Flexographic press.
- Complete make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Production Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling and anilox rollers are used.
- Complete all press side quality, visual, and functional checks.
- Operates press to produce products in accordance with customer specifications.
- Maintain vigilance for quality during the production run including performing all critical quality checks which include copy, color, registration, ink application and adherence.
- Basic equipment maintenance.
- Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
- Report all safety concerns or issues to their immediate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements include:
- Previous experience as a printing press operator
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical ability
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift medium to heavy weights occasionally
- Dexterity using hand tools
- Fluent in English

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
