This is a Hybrid role that is based in the Bloomington, MN Metro area.
POSITION SUMMARY
QBP is a leading e-commerce and distribution company in the cycling industry, dedicated to delivering exceptional digital experiences for both retailers and riders. As the Digital Content Supervisor, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of our product content across digital platforms to ensure accuracy, discoverability, and brand impact.
In this role, you’ll manage a team responsible for digital product content across our B2B site and key consumer channels. You’ll also act as the product owner of our Product Information Management (PIM) system and manage the workflow and communication between internal content creators and external partners.
This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution and requires strong knowledge of digital merchandising, content systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Strategy (45%)
- Lead, coach, and grow the product content team to ensure content is accurate, comprehensive, shoppable, and brand-aligned.
- Define and refine online merchandising and content standards across our B2B site to ensure high-quality presentation and discoverability.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to refine upselling and cross-selling strategies.
- Identify and implement improvements to supplier content acquisition processes, including images, video, and written copy.
- Drive digital merchandising strategy using market trends, sales data, competitor analysis, and customer behavior insights.
Content Operations & Execution (30%)
- Own the execution of digital product content across assigned categories, including product setup, categorization, copy, imagery, videos, attributes, and documents.
- Ensure all digital touchpoints present compelling, accurate, and complete content that drives demand and conversion.
- Regularly review and optimize product pages for effectiveness and accuracy, including copy, visuals, benefits, specs, and manuals.
- Develop and maintain landing pages and microsites for strategic campaigns, brands, and initiatives.
- Lead content enhancements for product launches, brand expansions, and promotional pushes to maximize brand impact and sales.
- Support SEO strategy through keyword research and optimization.
- Ensure product categorization and content is properly enriched in both the CMS and PIM systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Systems Ownership (20%)
- Serve as a content traffic manager, coordinating with internal content stakeholders and external agencies responsible for creating Amazon content for key brands. Ensure timely delivery of assets, alignment with brand standards, and performance optimization.
- Act as the product owner of the Product Information Management (PIM) system. Develop expert knowledge of the platform and work closely with the system provider to troubleshoot, optimize, and evolve functionality.
- Serve as the primary contact for QBP’s Content License Service, managing retailer relationships, providing API credentials, and supporting content delivery and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth and consistent flow of product content to external retail partners.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in digital product content management, merchandising, or related e-commerce marketing roles
- Proven experience managing large product assortments online
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring teams
- Excellent understanding of digital merchandising, product storytelling, and content workflows
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices
- Hands-on experience with PIM and CMS platforms
- Strong understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience working with external content or marketing agencies
