Title: **Broadband/Maintenance Technician
Level: **Entry to Advanced
Hours: 8 - 5, M - F, After Hours Suppport Rotation
Pay: **Based on experience
Job Responsibility:
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining, installing and troubleshooting CATV and Broadband Services

Essential Job Skills:
- Able/willingness to perform the tasks in the installation and troubleshooting of CATV, Cable Modem and VOIP services to customer premises.
- Able/willingness to take directions and apply to the job funtion.
- Ability to read and understand a map.
- Willingness to perform other job duties as assigned.
Preferred Job Skills:
- Plant Maintenance - includes splicing, balancing and tracking plant problems.
- Knowledge of Forward and Return Path for CATV and Cable Modem.
- Knowledge of MER, BER and Noise as it relates to QAM and DOCSIS channels.
- Knowledge of HFC Networks and troubleshooting.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Have valid Drivers License and able to be insured
- At least 1 year of experience in the installation of CATV
- Able to Pass Drug screen and/or background check
- Able to lift and carry a 28’ extension ladder when needed
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Education: Classes in Broadband Technician and/or Plant Maintenance

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
