Overview
Quality Care is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our Roswell, NM team. This position plays a key role in supporting the agency's daily operations by managing HR-related tasks, scheduling caregivers, and resolving client concerns. The Service Coordinator works closely with the Agency Director to ensure every client receives high-quality care as outlined in their care plan.
Duties
- Create and maintain accurate caregiver schedules; make adjustments as needed due to caregiver leave, illness, vacation, or client requests
- Support the development and execution of business growth strategies, census expansion, and marketing efforts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and state referral partners to grow client base
- Ensure client services are uninterrupted by arranging alternate coverage that supports the client’s approved care plan
- Communicate service updates clearly and promptly to both caregivers and clients
- Conduct monthly client wellness calls and complete home visits when necessary
- Investigate and follow up on escalated client complaints and theft reports
- Supervise direct care staff by setting clear expectations for attendance, performance, and conduct, while ensuring compliance with agency policies
- Maintain a professional and organized office space that reflects the company's standards
- Handle confidential client and employee information with discretion and integrity
- Demonstrate consistent attendance and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the agency
- Remain compliant with all MCO, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations
- Abide by all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Vocational school or college education (preferred)
- 3–5 years of recent experience in a healthcare or related field
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Occasional travel to other office may be required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
