Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging educational activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old and possess strong classroom management skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all students.
- Provide caregiving support, including supervising children during activities, meals, and playtime.
- Educate children on basic life skills, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an orderly environment.
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Ability to engage children in learning through creative activities and play.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and supporting their growth.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to address various needs in the classroom.
