Production Operator
Job Summary:
Production Operator performs a variety of tasks that require the ability to follow written/verbal instructions and a thorough knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment.
Supervision:
· Works under the direct supervision of the Area Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
· Setup and maintain process equipment.
· Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures.
· Refers to documentation (drawings, travelers, and specifications) to perform simple operation of various processing equipment.
· Writes legibly, signs and dates traveler when steps are completed.
· Maintains an organized work environment necessary for the efficient operation.
· Shows commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction through dedicating skills to achieve zero defect status.
· Meets production targets/goals.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to follow instructions from managers, supervisors, or senior production workers.
· Uses microscopes and basic tools.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· On-the-job training offered.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods standing and walking.
· Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
· Good hand dexterity.
Position Details:
· 1st Shift Begin/End Time: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM M-Th and 6am - noon on Fridays
· 2nd Shift Begin/End Time: 3:30 PM – 2:00 PM 4 day week
· 3rd shift Begin/End Time 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM 4 day week
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
