Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to employees and vendors.
- Process all types of Accounts Payable invoices using a variety of systems, coding and reviewing non-documents invoices to the proper General Ledger accounts and the Authority for Fund Commitment Policy.
- Process vendor maintenance requests.
- Respond to supplier inquiries and requests.
- Assist with the daily Accounts Payable mail and the filing of unpaid Accounts Payable vouchers.
- Assist with projects and other tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Two (2) plus years experience in administrative processing, preferably in an accounting function
- Detail oriented – matching & identifying discrepancies.
- Experience using SAP
- Understanding of established general accounting policies & procedures.
- JDE, Stellent, and Ariba system experience
- General understanding of accounting principles.
- Computer skills including data entry and database management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
