Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Laboratory Manager with a strong emphasis on Sales to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for an individual who is both detail-oriented and enjoys engaging with clients. In addition to managing the operations of our dental laboratory, you will actively drive sales efforts by visiting dental offices, conducting cold calls, and building lasting relationships with clients. You will also oversee accounting functions and assist with front desk duties when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the dental laboratory, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
- Represent the laboratory by driving to local dentist offices to discuss case details, sell services, and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform cold calls to dental offices to introduce our laboratory services and generate new business opportunities.
- Oversee all aspects of accounting for the laboratory, including maintaining accurate records, invoicing, and working with QuickBooks for financial management.
- Provide leadership and guidance to laboratory staff, ensuring all employees are meeting quality standards and deadlines.
- Assist with front desk duties when necessary, including answering calls, coordinating schedules, and managing client interactions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing dental clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a dental laboratory management role or similar leadership position.
- Strong sales and customer service experience, preferably within the dental or medical field.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel to dentist offices.
- Knowledge of dental laboratory operations and services is a plus, but not required.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in dental sales or a client-facing role.
- Familiarity with dental industry terminology and procedures.
