We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Metal Shop Administrative Supervisor to oversee administrative functions in our metal fabrication shop. This role will support operations by managing documentation, coordinating schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and production standards, and providing administrative support to supervisors and team members. Our ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or metal shop environments and possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative processes to support metal shop
- operations, including scheduling, work orders, and production tracking.
- Oversee documentation related to metal cutting, processing, and welding activities.
- Track and maintain employee attendance records and coordinate with management on workforce planning.
- Maintain and organize quality documentation to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize ERP software to manage production data and workflow efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze reports using Microsoft Excel and other
Office Suite applications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with production teams, management,
and vendors to support smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment required; metal shop experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP software is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
