Summary
•    Responsible for supervising all operations on a daily basis, ensuring internal and Customer’s requirements are achieved.  Calculates related job parameters, including pressure required, materials, equipment, and capabilities. Makes recommendations regarding procedures, equipment, job designs and job execution.

 

Functional Responsibilities
•    Manages the operations on the job site and all associated tools needed for the job task
•    Demonstrates reliability reports for scheduled on-duty period on time.
•    Coordinates work assignments between Operations Manager, Customer, and assigned crew members
•    Shows initiative, demonstrates awareness, accurately follows instructions, and effectively communicates with Operations Manager and customer
•    Demonstrates ability to diagnose and correctly solve problems with limited Operations Manager assistance
•    Demonstrates supervisory and leadership skills through mentoring less experienced crew members and maintaining high levels of morale among crew members
•    Mentors less experience crew members in conducting required equipment maintenance including routine maintenance on engine and pumps packages
•    Demonstrates a thorough understanding of BSEE regulations regarding Slickline Requirements
•    Performs the calculations used to determine Hydrostatic volumes based on information obtained from wellbore schematics, well work procedures, or well files with limited supervision
•    Participates in 5x5 Safety and Observation Program
•    Participates in JSEA and Tailgate Safety Meetings
•    Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager
•    Reports to Operations Management

 

Required Skills
•    Experience – 5 years
•    Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or government regulations
•    Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals, and effectively communicate/present information and/or respond to questions from managers, customers, and the general public.
•    Mathematical Skills – Advanced Skills – Ability to apply mathematical concepts such fractions, ratios, percentages and proportions to practical situations
•    In addition, the ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determinate the test of reliability and validity, and correlation techniques.
•    Reasoning Skills - Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
•    Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables.
•    Manages logistic land, air, and sea for equipment and field employees
•    Liaison with Co-man, project engineer, crew members and District office
•    Manages job folders on location, vendor tracking, and cost tracking if required

 

Required Knowledge
•    Ability to manage the scope of work, job budgets, transportation, rental equipment, and expendable supplies to complete jobs on time and under budget
•    BSEE regulations regarding Slickline requirements
•    T-2 Certification
•    Well Control
•    Pressure Control Operations
•    Winch Operations
•    Wireline Performance Characteristics and Maintenance 
•    Basic computer skills (e-mail, Microsoft office)

 

Supervisory Responsibilities
•    Wireline Personnel

 

Physical Demands
•    This job requires frequent moderate to heavy work
•    Employee will be exposed to high noise and the potential of chemicals and fumes or gases in the field environment
•    Employee will stand or walk 75% of the time and frequently be asked to bend, squat, or reach and occasionally climb
•    Employee will be on call 24 hrs.
