Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Plumbing Installations and Repairs: Help plumbers install pipes, fixtures, and appliances (e.g., sinks, toilets, water heaters) and repair or replace plumbing systems.
- Prepare Job Sites: Set up work areas by unloading materials, organizing tools, and ensuring that the area is safe and clean.
- Cut and Measure Pipes: Assist with cutting and measuring pipes for plumbing installation or repairs.
- Transport and Handle Materials: Carry tools, materials, and equipment to the job site.
- Clean and Maintain Equipment: Help maintain plumbing tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Assist with Drain Cleaning: Help with clearing blockages in drains or sewer systems under the direction of a plumber.
- Support in Emergency Situations: Help during plumbing emergencies by following instructions from a plumber to resolve issues.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Ensure a safe working environment by following all health and safety regulations on job sites.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in challenging environments.
