Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are cleaned and presented to the highest standard.
- Sanitize surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment for guests or residents.
- Conduct floor care duties such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning as needed.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests in a friendly manner.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks as required, including training new staff members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products used in various settings.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement or additional cleaning.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A valid driver's license may be required for positions that involve travel between locations.
