Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential, commercial, or hotel environments. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Housekeeper will ensure that all areas are sanitized and presentable, providing a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and properly stored.
- Sanitate bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Conduct floor care activities such as carpet cleaning and polishing hard surfaces.
- Clean windows, walls, and furniture to ensure all surfaces are spotless.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in compliance with environmental standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial services or housekeeping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment used in residential or commercial cleaning settings is advantageous.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively while completing tasks efficiently.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining high cleanliness standards.
