The Award Winning Quality Inn Oakwood is looking for a SALES MANAGER to join our busy and professional team. Ideally, you’ll have experience in sales, preferably hospitality sales in all market segments. You will be able to demonstrate initiative and be someone who has a reputation for delivering fantastic customer service.
A qualified candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline in both corporate and group business, making cold calls, both inside and outside the property.
This positions key responsibilities include:
- Identify, solicit, and cultivate new business opportunities through both direct sales and networking.
- Respond promptly to all sales leads and work together with the front desk & housekeeping teams and catering department to coordinate group and corporate business.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all corporate and group business, including managing reservations & billing for our corporate accounts.
- Continue to maintain a strong relationship with our existing group and corporate accounts.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Participate in local networking groups, meetings and events.
