We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team and support our safety initiatives.
Job Summary: We are seeking an entry-mid level Compliance and Safety Specialist looking to assist with DOT driver compliance, maintaining driver qualification files, ensuring accurate equipment and driver information within our Transportation Management System (TMS). This role will also support driver relations and appreciation initiatives, contributing to a positive work environment and fostering strong relationships with our drivers.
Position: M-F 8am - 5pm
Key Responsibilities:
- DOT Driver Compliance: Assist with ensuring that drivers comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards.
- Driver Qualification Files: Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver qualification files, including necessary documents such as licenses, DOT required drug test , medical certificates, and safety records.
- TMS Data Management: Input, update, and maintain driver and equipment information within the Transportation Management System (TMS), ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Driver Relations: Foster positive relationships with drivers by being a driver liaison within the safety department, and communicating safety policies effectively.
- Driver Appreciation Initiatives: Support the development and execution of driver recognition and appreciation programs to boost morale and enhance retention.
- Safety Documentation: Assist in maintaining safety records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Training Support: Assist in organizing safety training and orientation sessions for drivers, ensuring they understand safety protocols and compliance requirements.

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
