Experienced Dispatcher Wanted for Medium Sized Trucking Company
About Us:
Quality Logistics Inc. is a family-owned trucking company with a proud history of serving the industry since 1959. We operate with company drivers and company-owned equipment. We do NOT have owner-operators. Our team enjoys spacious, comfortable offices (no cubicles here!) and a supportive, family-oriented work environment. We do NOT have an offshore back office.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our team. This position plays a key role in coordinating operations and ensuring efficient day-to-day activities for our fleet of drivers. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in dispatching, load planning, and DOT compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatching drivers and managing daily schedules
- Must have load board experience
- Load planning and route optimization
- Ensuring DOT compliance, including ELD and log management
- Entering loads and updating our internal system
- Monday through Friday work schedule
Qualifications:
- Verifiable experience in dispatching within the trucking industry
- Proven ability to plan loads and manage driver schedules effectively
- Familiarity with load boards and freight sourcing
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, including log management
- Proficiency in trucking-related computer systems and software
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience
