Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily health inspections of marine invertebrates.
- Identify, grade, and create SKU structures for new coral color types and species.
- Maintain clean and organized tanks and aquatic systems, managing invertebrate interactions.
- Prepare arrival and holding spaces for incoming shipments.
- Handle, organize, and verify WYSIWYG coral collections.
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records using hand-held devices and database systems.
- Develop and maintain detailed invertebrate quality reports.
- Test and maintain optimal system parameters for aquatic environments.
- Administer treatments and maintain coral health as needed.
- Oversee and manage coral propagation processes.
Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate coral and invertebrate counts
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associate degree (AS) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in coral and invertebrate husbandry techniques preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with inventory systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for more than 7 hours per day.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.
