Job Description: IT Manager
QMS is looking to bring on an IT Manager to manage and enhance our technology footprint. This key position will be the direct liaison between QMS and our third-party technology Managed Services Provider, ensuring both the integrity and constant improvement of our systems and security.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of telecommunications and network technology, hardware, software, and services preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Track record of successful development and implementation of new technologies

Key Responsibilities:
- Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems
- Perform review audits of current information systems. Evaluate operating practices to determine if controls and security measures are adequate.
- Maintain and improve current data collection software with corresponding real time reporting
- Assess dependability and integrity of information systems and associated data.
- Assist in the rollout of large projects, including installation of computers, servers, firewalls, switches, and more, as well as using network planning/tuning software to ensure adequate wifi coverage
- Perform Disaster Recovery strategy
