At our Schoolcraft Road location, in Livonia, we're looking for someone to assist with Inventory Control and Shipping.
Inventory Functions
One (1) year of inventory administration experience required, three (3) years managing or administering inventory control preferred.
May require minor flexibility in scheduling to satisfy customer delivery deadlines.

Inventory Functions
- Maintain raw material inventory accuracy through cycle count procedures.
- Oversee monthly reporting of current inventory counts to management.
- Improve accuracy of raw materials counts, if needed.
- Assist with or oversee raw material moves into manufacturing, working with the team to ensure material is being picked properly and issued to jobs correctly.
- Perform putaway functions for raw material and finished goods.
- Manage materials and ensure proper storage and organization.
- Assemble customer orders and match all paperwork for shipments.
- Accept and process all paperwork for incoming and outgoing customer product.
- Perform a visual inspection of products being shipped and received; compare identifying information of counts, weights or other measures to verify information against Bill of Lading, invoice, receipt, packing slip or other records.
- Follow up on all daily shipments to make sure they ship on time.
- Accept and process receipts of incoming shipments and files associated paperwork (receipts, freight bills, invoices) working with Accounting or other departments, as required.
- Check all incoming shipments and report shortages/damage to appropriate party; contact vendor and process vendor RMA as requested.
- Prepare products for shipping and create shippers; know and adhere to all standard procedures for packaging. Weight dimensions and pallets.
- Coordinate intracompany shipments
- Assist with product delivery timing
- Contact freight carriers for domestic pick-up and any shipment delays or requested information, as needed.
- Distribute employee deliveries timely.
