Overview
Quality Mold Erie is a fast paced and progressive plastic injection mold manufacturing facility located in Erie Pennsylvania. With our rapid growth we are currently seeking multiple positions that include a CNC (Wire EDM) programmer/operator. This position is responsible for daily operations that include but are not limited to.
· Set-ups, programming
· maximizing wire EDM machine utilization and unattended time.
· Assisting in and involvement with developing and progressing a wire EDM department
· Ability to run multiple machines
· Ability to work in and build a team environment
· Attention to detail and proficiency in time management and communication
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement software programs that enhance production efficiency.
- Utilize programming skills to control machinery and automate processes.
- Assemble components using precision measuring instruments, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and stamping presses as needed.
- Perform quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools to maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues related to mechanical operations and programming.
- Maintain documentation of programming procedures, updates, and modifications for future reference.
