Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while driving sales through effective product knowledge and engagement. You will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers, ensuring they leave satisfied and informed about our products. Sales Associate will also receive commission on all sales.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and managing product displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Apply basic math skills for cash handling and retail math tasks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sales or retail is preferred, particularly in a grocery store environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register.
• Basic math skills are essential for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to perform product demos confidently and effectively communicate product benefits.
• Experience with upselling techniques is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.82 - $12.40 per hour
