Quality Outdoor Products is seeking a Shop Manager at our Southern Alabama location.
Applications are being accepted for the position of Shop Manager at QOP in Ozark AL.
This position involves all aspects of duties normally associated with metal manufacturing shop managing in an industrial setting and other duties as assigned.
Hours: Mon- Fri. 7:30am – 4:00pm; Applicant must be dependable, reliable, with good attendance. ** MUST BE ABLE TO READ A TAPE MEASURE IN DETAIL **
Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:
- Experience in related field.
- Experience in supervising and instructing others.
- Must have knowledge and experience (formal or informal) in general manufacturing of metal garages, carport, barns.. ETC.
- Be able to maintain a fleet of vehicles and manage shop.
- Handle customer pick-up orders/scheduling pick up's in communication with the front office to ensure that every customer gets the best service possible, with a quick turnaround / load time.
- Must be an organized individual and have basic knowledge of computers with the ability to keep records electronically. Must be able to keep a running list of inventory with a routine, to ensure supplies flow as needed.
- Able to communicate orally and in writing and keep records.
- Valid driver’s license and be insurable through company insurance is REQUIRED - Customer deliveries, Picking up good, ETC.
- Must be willing to participate in additional training as needed/required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
